This year I read a number of articles about proper techniques for taking pictures of fireworks. One key element that I could not control was location. Family obligations kept us a little further away so I included a stretch of beach with some people in the distant foreground. The wind was blowing off shore so the streaks are heading west to east (right to left as you view them.) These were all taken in the range of f/6 and 2-2.5s at ISO 100.
